Police seeking information in relation to a home invasion in East Preston 

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is investigating a home invasion that occurred in East Preston.

On November 23, shortly after midnight, RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of a home invasion near the 200 block on Bell St. Investigators learned that two men entered the home, one of whom brandished a knife and demanded occupants what they had. The suspects fled on foot with a small quantity of cannabis.

The occupants of the home, two 27-year-old East Preston men, did not suffer physical injuries.

Officers, assisted by RCMP Police dog services, patrolled the area but the suspects were not located.

One suspect is described as a black male, 18-19 years-old. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The second offender is described as a white male, 18-19 years-old. He was wearing a mask, a yellow hoodie and an off-white pants.

The investigation is ongoing.
