In photos – Making a splash at the LETR Torch Run Polar Dip in Halifax!
Law enforcement from around the province and their supporters took to the Halifax waterfront as part of the event, raising funds for the Special Olympics!
With EHS and Halifax SAR supporting the brave dippers, onlookers cheered on as a dive team stayed close, at one point rescuing a wayward slipper.
With the ceremonial screeched of cold shock over, these dippers were treated to a familiar sight as the Nordic Sauna Rentals provided a pair of toasty saunas to take the shivers away.
A lot of fun and a great job to those who took the plunge!
