Missing person: Help the RCMP find Jacob Croft

Lunenburg District RCMP, with the assistance of Lunenburg County and North Queens Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR), were in the Northfield area of Lunenburg County yesterday continuing to search for 29-year-old Jacob​ Croft of Chester Basin. Croft was last seen at approximately midnight on June 25 at a location along the Northfield Rd. New information indicates that Croft may have been in the Chelsea area of Lunenburg County at around 4 a.m. on Thursday, June 25th.

RCMP, GSAR and a Nova Scotia EMO Helicopter had been searching the area since early afternoon on Thursday. The ground search of that area concluded late yesterday.​ RCMP investigators are continuing to look into possible leads but have had negative results so far.

Croft is described as white, 6-foot tall and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.​ Police and​ Croft’s family are concerned for his safety.
