Police Investigate Weapons Call – Shooting

At 4:27 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots fired from a small black car at black SUV, on Highway 111 near Mic Mac Blvd, Dartmouth.  Multiple officers have responded to the scene and have not located anyone injured.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol are actively searching for the occupants of both vehicle.  There is currently no suspect descriptions.

Traffic Blocked: Police have temporarily blocked all North bound traffic on Highway 111 to search for evidence.  The North Bound traffic is blocked at Portland Street and Main Street from accessing the 111 Highway.
