Police arrest man on Canada-wide warrant
Police have arrested a man who was wanted on a Canada-wide arrest warrant.
On March 20, a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Geordie Whyte, 38. Whyte was wanted for:
- Kidnapping
- Multiple firearms related offences
- Multiple breaches of probation orders
On March 24, members executed a warrant to enter a residence in the 0-60 block of Crichton Avenue in Dartmouth. Whyte was located and arrested without incident.
Whyte was held and is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today.
