In photos – The Final Dip! The last dip of the season splashes down today as the Darkside Dippers took on the still chilly temperatures of Lake Banook as part of their weekly dips!
The brave took on the chill today, some new and some veterans, as part of a growing trend said to promote health, such as arthritis relief, mental health and other inflammatory ailments for example, in a safty focused polar dip.
With the mobile spa (provided by Nordic Sauna Rentals) and music, the mood was set for the dipping dippers!
This was the last dip of the season for the Darkside Dippers group. With a upcoming end of season bash and award ceremony to acknowledge fundraisers for the dips food drive, this group is already planning next seasons events and hope to see you there!
Ps – Almost $11k was raised in their fundraiser!
