Police investigating robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At approximately 4:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Irving Service Station located at 5450 Inglis Street in Halifax. A man entered the service station store and presented a knife. The man fled the store with an amount of money and cigarettes. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’8” and 165 lbs. He was wearing a green hoodie with red trim around the hood and brown cut-off shorts.
