Emergency crews remain on scene of a structure fire scene as demolition of the building reveals more hot spots. Smoke can be seen from the rubble as machines continue to remove rubble.

Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency is still engaged in active firefighting at 6380 Quinpool Road and the fire scene continues to release very toxic smoke.
All residents are being requested to stay away from this location for their safety.
Homes and businesses in the area are being advised to keep windows / doors closed and turn off systems that bring in air from the outside.
6380 Quinpool Road will remain closed between Oxford Street and Preston Street, overnight and tomorrow.
The street will reopen once HRFE deems the site safe.
