Halifax Regional Police have charged a man with driving in excess of 50 km/h over the posted speed limit last week in Halifax.
At approximately 7 a.m. on September 18 a member of the Traffic Unit observed a car travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 102 travelling southbound. The officer captured the vehicle’s speed at 152 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.

The fine in Nova Scotia for stunting is $2,422.50 and six points are assigned to the driver’s record.
