Halifax Regional Police has charged an additional youth in relation to the homicide that occurred last week in Halifax.

Today, investigators with the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division arrested a youth who was previously arrested and released in relation to the homicide.

The 16-year-old youth is scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Justice Court this afternoon to face one count of second-degree murder.

On Friday, two 14-year-old youths appeared in youth court to face one count each of second-degree murder.

On April 22 at approximately 5:05 p.m. police responded to a report of an injured person in the parking lot of a shopping centre at 7001 Mumford Road.
