November 5th to 11th marks Veteran’s Week
This week we observe both Indigenous Veteran’s Day on November 8th and Remembrance Day on November 11th to honour and celebrate those who have served Canda during times of conflict and peace. We observe these days as a memorial to members of the armed forces who died in the line of duty but also to recognize there were significant impacts to those who have lived. The red poppy is a symbol of their remembrance.
