Recall: On some 2021-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs, the rear coil springs may not have been installed correctly and could detach while driving. This could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash

Issue:
On certain vehicles, the rear coil springs may not have been installed correctly. As a result, the spring(s) could detach from the vehicle while driving.
Note: This recall affects 2022-2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2021-2023 Grand Cherokee L models.Safety Risk:
A coil spring that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the rear coil spring assemblies, and repair them as necessary.
