Search for missing person: Joseph Lauren Veinot
Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Search and Rescue are in the area of Kidston Lake conducting a search for missing 44-year-old Joseph Lauren Veinot. We are asking the public to remain out of the area to allow the search to be conducted.
Joseph Lauren Veinot was reported missing to police on May 7 and was last seen on May 6 in the Spryfield area of Halifax. He is described as approximately 5’9” tall, 165 lbs., shaved head and blue eyes. He was wearing white loafer style shoes, jeans and a red sweater with “East Coast Lifestyle” on the chest.
There is no information to suggest that Joseph has met with foul play, however, police and his family are concerned for his well-being.

Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Search and Rescue will also be in the area of Long Lake Park conducting a search for missing 44-year-old Joseph Lauren Veinot. We are asking the public to remain out of the areas to allow the search to be conducted.
