**** Pumpkin Regatta Festival Release
Sadly the Windsor~West Hants Pumpkin Regatta is officially cancelled
The twinning of Highway 101 at Exit 6/7 (Windsor and Falmouth) and the ongoing issues surrounding the lake has left us with no water to hold the beloved Pumpkin Regatta. Other venues were investigated, but none could support the logistics required for the Pumpkin Regatta.
The annual Howard Dill Pumpkin Classic & Weigh-off, at the Dill Family Farm, 400 College Road, will be held on October 1. While we can no longer row these giant gourds, you can see them in their natural habitat at the Dill Farm, open daily until October 31.
This Facebook page will transition into a tourism page for the Avon River Valley and the community’s that make up this inspiring region called West Hants.
