Police issue eleven summary offence tickets for failing to follow​ Health​ Protection​ Act

Today, police issued eleven people tickets for failing to comply with the regulations set out in the Health Protection Act.

At approximately 12:41 a.m. officers responded to a report of a party in a residence in the 6000 block of Bayers Rd. Officers issued eleven summary offence tickets to the occupants of a residence who were not complying with Section 71 (1) (b) of the Health Protection Act for failing to comply with the act and its regulations, which carries a fine of $2,422.00
