Pedestrian dies in motor vehicle collision
Barrington RCMP are investigating after vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in Barrington Passage.
Yesterday, at approximately 5:50 p.m., police responded to a collision on Hwy. 3 in Barrington Passage. Police and emergency responders attended the scene and found a 41-year-old Barrington man had been struck by a pickup truck while crossing the roadway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 34-year-old male driver of the truck and two minor occupants were uninjured.
A collision re-constructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing. The Hwy. was reduced to one lane and has since reopened.
