Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this weekend in Halifax.

On October 31 at approximately 1:30 a.m. police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at an apartment building on Montgomery Court. A man sprayed a pizza delivery driver with a sensory irritant and stole money and personal belongings from him.

The suspect is described as a white man, heavy set, approximately 6’ tall with a lot of wrinkles on his forehead. At the time of the incident, the man had a bandana-type neck mask over his face and was wearing a shirt and jeans.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the incident or video from the area to contact police. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or via the P3 Tips App.
