Update –Due to the extreme heat forecasted for Friday, we have decided to cancel our vaccination clinic scheduled for tomorrow at the Captain William Spry Community Centre. We’ll be back – stay tuned for a new date!
Nova Scotia Health’s outreach COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be offering drop-ins at the Captain William Spry Community Centre to help support vaccine accessibility for residents and nearby community members. COVID-19 testing will also be available on site.
The clinic will be providing the Pfizer vaccine to residents and nearby community members (ages 12+) for their first or second dose* at the following location, at the following time:
- Captain William Spry Community Centre (outdoors – weather dependent)
16 Sussex St., Halifax
Friday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Drop-ins only
*To receive your second dose, your first dose must have been at least 28 days ago, or 21+ days if your first dose was Pfizer.
Community members will be asked to provide their health card number and ID at the vaccine clinic.
Outdoor vaccine and testing clinics are weather dependent.
For those with mobility challenges, special needs, and/or have significant anxiety about needles, please notify clinic team members on site. Having this information in advance helps the clinic team better prepare to offer support. These sites are wheelchair accessible.
All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
