Man dies accessing waterfront
RCMP is investigating as man found deceased on rocks at waterfront in Cape Forchu.
On Saturday July 31, at 8:13 p.m. police were called to Thomas Rd. where a man was located on the rocks of the waterfront. The preliminary investigation appears that a rope used to access the waterfront area from a steep hill tied to a tree broke causing the man to fall.
The victim a 68-year-old man from Cape Forchu was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation continues, criminality is not suspected.
