Police respond to a single vehicle collision – Motorcycle versus parked car

At 12:52 P.M. today, police responded to a single vehicle collision with injuries. It was reported that near the 2600 block of Agricola Street in Halifax, a man driving a motorcycle had collided with a parked vehicle.

Halifax Regional Police Patrol members as well as Collision Reconstruction members responded to the scene with HRM Fire and EHS.

A man was located injured with undetermined but serious injuries. He was treated onscene and was transported to the QE2 Hospital.

Police had the roadway blocked in both directions for a period of time while the investigation was ongoing, but it has since been re-opened.

The matter is currently under investigation and there are no further updates at this point in time in terms of what led to the collision. The parked car was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
