RCMP responds to vessel fire in Saulnierville
At 11:40 a.m. Meteghan RCMP along with Meteghan Fire Dept. responded to a report of a fishing vessel on fire. The vessel was tied up at the Saulnierville wharf in Saulnierville.
The fire was contained to the interior of the vessel and was quickly extinguished by Little Brook Fire Dept. with assistance from Meteghan Fire. No one was aboard the boat and the time of the fire, there were no reports of any injuries, and no other property was damaged.
The fire is considered non suspicious at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
