Patrol members of the Halifax Regional Police are investigating a weapons call that occurred this morning.
At approximately 1250 a.m. officers attended the area of 2000 Barrington St for a report of a man and woman who were observed walking together. The man was seen placing what appeared to be a handgun on his person before the two of them left the area.​
A short time later officers located the subjects and both were taken into custody.
Officers located a pellet handgun on the man.
A 32 year old man is facing weapons charges.
A 24 year old woman is facing breach of court ordered conditions.
