RCMP investigates fatal collision
Meteghan RCMP is investigating a fatal motorcycle collision that occurred yesterday evening.
At approximately 6:10 p.m., Meteghan RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 1 involving a motorcycle. The driver, a 63-year-old man from Weymouth, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An RCMP Collision Analyst attended, and the highway was closed for several hours. It has since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing.
