Heads Up Halifax. Daylight savings time ends on Sunday, November first.

Reduced daylight hours mean reduced visibility, making it difficult to see people and objects on the road. Collisions between vehicles and other road users are proven to increase during this time of year.

Whether you’re walking, cycling, rolling, or driving, be sure to scan your surroundings and ensure you are seen.

Motorists should remain attentive, drive with caution, and ensure their lights are turned on. Pedestrians and cyclists are reminded to wear reflective clothing. Halifax.ca/headsup
