Yarmouth RCMP investigates fatal ATV collision
At approximately 6:20 a.m. this morning, police were called to a single-vehicle crash on the Hardscratch Rd. in South Ohio.
The RCMP, Fire and EHS attended the scene and found an ATV near the roadway upright with extensive damage. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Yarmouth County was pronounced deceased at the scene. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
A collision re-constructionist is on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
The Hardscratch Rd. remains closed in both directions with diversion points being Greenville Rd. and Tinkham Rd. The road is expected to remain closed until this afternoon.
