In photos – We checked out Hope for Wildlife’s weekend open house today. A great crowd showed up to visit the compound and learn about the incredible team at Hope for Wildlife and the amazing work they do!
With so much to see, crowds learned about the amazing world that is Hope for Wildlife.
With education front and center, Hope and her incredible team welcome the public in.
Education animals, including the beautiful Jessie the bobcat and Buddy the eagle, are examples of the fragile balance between humans and our delicate wildlife habitats and interactions.
Hope and her team are eager to educate during these open houses, allowing the public to tour the hospital and visit other animals rescued by the team, with more and more animals arriving at their door yearly.
And of course, no tour is complete without a stop at the well stocked Cafe Catio! Locally made goodies, coffee and ice cream are some if the great treats you can dig into all while watching Jessie through the big window.
Hope for Wildlife holds Saturday open houses from 1pm to 3pm, with a much larger open house in the summer.
It is always a fantastic experience, with smiles and chatting with great staff, including George and Hope herself!
