Update: Missing person found deceased
A 52-year-old man from Lake Echo who was reported missing yesterday has been located deceased.
Today, during a search of a wooded area in Mineville, human remains were found.
The death is not believed to be suspicious in nature, however, the investigation is ongoing.
Missing person: Help the RCMP find Edward Robinson
Halifax District RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to locate 52-year-old Edward Robinson, who is missing from Lake Echo. He was last seen at 4 p.m. on March 11.
Robinson is described as white, with grey/brown salt and pepper hair and blue eyes. He is 6-foot-2 and approximately 290 pounds. He is possibly wearing a blue shirt, black jeans, brown hiking shoes and a jacket possibly blue in colour. Police are concerned for his safety. Robinson’s pickup truck was located on the Mineville Rd. at an entrance to a trail in Mineville.
