Last evening, the Truro Police Service, Colchester Ground Search and Rescue and air support from Department of Natural Resources conducted a trial using a mannequin in Lepper Brook and Salmon River.

Data was collected and mapped. At this point, the Truro Police Service will be meeting to decide next steps.

The weather and water conditions were not exactly as they were on May 6, 2020, when Dylan Ehler, went missing. This trial was not meant to be an exact science; however, it is believed that the exercise did produce some useful information that the team will be evaluating.
