Traffic advisory for Labour Day weekend: The Macdonald Bridge will be closed 7pm Friday, September 4 until 5:30am Tuesday, September 8. Sidewalk and bike lane will be open.
This is the final scheduled weekend closure on the Macdonald Bridge to replace bearings. Keeping the bridge closed Labour Day Monday means two bearings can be replaced and the number of weekend closures is reduced by one.
