The Halifax Professional Firefighters would like to ask residents that, if you are able to, snow-covered fire hydrants should be cleared out as soon as possible.
Although the municipality is charged with clearing hydrants out, there are a lot of hydrants in the area and it may take time to get to them all. Every second matters in an emergency, so a little help is appreciated!
