There was very little traffic on the roads (during the storm), which resulted in only a few minor collisions. HRM Snow Removal was able to efficiently work and clear streets.
That being said, citizen’s need to be aware that even though the winter parking ban ends at 6am this morning, parked vehicles cannot obstruct snow removal while crews continue to clean up from last night’s storm.
Parking tickets and or towing of vehicles can still occur for vehicles obstructing snow removal operations. Parking vehicles off roadways still requiring clearing is always best.
