Police Investigate Single Motor Vehicle Collision – Dartmouth

At 9:21 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a signal motor vehicle collision West bound on the 111 Highway at exit 2B (Windmill Road exit), Dartmouth.​ ​ ​ The vehicle had rolled over onto the roof in the collision.​ ​ An adult female was the only occupant and was extracted from the vehicle by Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency.​ The female was not injured and was checked by Emergency Health Service paramedics at the scene.​ At the time of the collision it was raining.​ However, alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor and the driver was arrested for Impaired Driving.​ The investigation is in the initial stage and impaired driving charges are expected to be laid against the driver.

Traffic Blocked – West bound traffic on the 111 Highway has been reduced to one lane, with the outside lane closed while the vehicle is removed.​
