Police Investigate Break & Enter – Dartmouth

At 10:29 p.m., on the 7th of April, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress in the 0-50 block of Chappell Street Dartmouth.​ Caller reported a male broke into their residence taking a laptop and fled on foot toward Wyse Road.​

Multiple officers and a two Police Service Dogs responded.​ While officers were searching for the suspect, just after midnight a second Break & Enter in progress was reported on Middle Street Dartmouth.

At 12:38 a.m., officers located and arrested the suspect a short distance the second break & enter.​ The suspect was in possession of a stolen laptop.​ The suspect a 35 year-old male from Dartmouth is held for court and is facing the following Criminal Code charges; Break & Enter, Trespass by night and Breach of Probation.
