Police charge two people after search of a Dartmouth business

Police have charged two people after conducting a search of a business in Dartmouth on March 13.

At approximately 12 a.m., members of the Drug Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by members of the Guns and Gangs Unit and East Patrol Division, conducted a search warrant at Radical Concepts located at 137 Portland Street. Two people were arrested inside the business without incident.​ Investigators seized approximately 2 kilograms of cocaine.

Tara Lee Patruno, 33, of East Chezzetcook, and Patricia Barrett, 36, of Lake Echo, are scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date to face one count each of possession for the purpose of drug trafficking.
