Police investigate 2 consecutive commercial Break and Enters.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating two overnight break and enters that occurred early this morning in downtown Halifax.

At 2:55 A.M. police responded to a commercial intrusion alarm at Boston Pizza, 1858 Granville Street in Halifax. Entry was gained via the entry door to the business by smashing the door’s glass panel. A cash register and other items were stolen from the location.

Soon after at 3:05 A.M., a 2nd commercial intrusion alarm was activated at the Creamy Rainbow, 104-1526 Dresden Row in Halifax. Again, entry was gained by smashing the front door’s glass panel and cash register taken.

The suspect is described as and believed to be the same person in both matters as a white man, approximately 30 years old with short brown hair, glasses, black jacket with white hoodie underneath, black pants and black sneakers with white soles.
