Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the owner of an amount of cash that was found in Halifax yesterday.

At approximately 2:15 p.m. police received a report that a woman had located a sum of money. The woman reported that the cash had been blowing around loosely near the intersection of Knightsridge Drive and Camelot Lane in Halifax.

Investigators are asking the owner, or anyone who may have information about the money, to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App. In order to claim the money, the person must be able to specify the amount of cash and in what denominations.
