Police are investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision
Police investigated a vehicle/pedestrian collision in Bedford. Traffic was diverted for 90 minutes as the Bedford Highway was closed between Lindsay Hill and High Street.
On June 8th, 2020 at approximately 9:49 p.m. police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at the intersection of Bedford Highway and Convoy Run. A 35 year old driver struck a 48 year old female pedestrian and a 54 year old male pedestrian. The female pedestrian was taken to hospital for which were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The male pedestrian was taken to hospital for which were believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing and further information will follow as it becomes available.
