Pictou District RCMP is asking for public help to locate a stolen power meter.

On December 3, police received a report that a power meter was stolen from a structure near the intersection of the Abercrombie Rd. and the Trenton Connector. Police determined the theft took place in the early morning of December 3 between 12:00 a.m and 6 a.m.

The meter was connected to the intersection lights and once removed disabled the intersection lights causing a danger to motorists.
