Update: Missing person located

​The 15-year-old who was reported missing from Lower Sackville on March 1 has been located and is safe.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media.


Missing person: Help the RCMP find Leah Tibert

Halifax District RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to help locate 15-year-old Leah Tibert, who has been missing since the​ evening hours of February 28.​

Leah Tibert​ is described as white, 5-foot-4, 120 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes. A description of her clothing is not available. She was last seen in Lower Sackville​ possibly taking a bus to Cole Harbour.​

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
