Missing person: Help the RCMP find Donald Leo Thorne

Update: Missing person located

The 36-year-old who was reported missing from Timberlea on April 23 has been located and is safe.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media.


Halifax District RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to help locate 36-year-old Donald Leo Thorne, who has been missing from Timberlea since 1:30 a.m.​ on April 22.​

Donald Leo Thorne​ is described as white, 6-foot-1, 180 lbs. He has brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen driving a 2019 silver Ford Fushion rental car with Nova Scotia licence plate GJJ386.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
