Hi Folks! Just a friendly reminder to the public that fire lanes are for emergency vehicles ONLY. NO exceptions. In the event of an emergency, first responders need this space to safely and efficiently eradicate potentially dangerous situations. Moving forward, the Amherst Police Department – Amherst NS will be enforcing the fire lanes at Walmart and some other local businesses.
