Halifax District RCMP is asking for help in solving a theft from a home in Lucasville last night (May 9th)

At approximately 2 a.m., police were contacted when an alarm was activated on Lucasville Rd. A police investigation determined that two motorcycles were stolen from the garage. One was loaded on a vehicle and the other wheeled off the property. One of the motorcycles was located shortly after by the owner abandoned behind a shed near the dog park on Lucasville Rd. The one not recovered is a black and gold 2019 Honda CR50 with a 140 cc engine, a number 10 and DC international decaling. A yellow FOX Racing motocross helmet was also stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
