Halifax Regional Police is making every effort to ensure we adequately equip our members while working during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of the public may notice more of our officers wearing different forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the coming days and weeks. The nature of PPE worn by officers will be determined by the situation they are dealing with. Citizens should not be alarmed when they see our officers wearing face masks.

It is part of a concentrated effort to protect our employees and the public from COVID-19 transfer. Stay safe, stay home.
