Adoptable highlight – Stella
We would like to introduce you to the stunning and sweet, Stella! This gal is short in stature, but she does not let that slow her down.
Stella came into our care when her owner could no longer look after her. She is around 3 years old and is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix.
She has settled into the shelter and is ready to meet her forever family.
While Stella has really come around with the staff and volunteers here, she can still get overwhelmed with large groups of people. Spending one on one time with her, soon enough she will start to come out of her shell. Once she trusts you, she will give you her heart and shower you with kisses!
Stella would prefer to be the only animal in the home with children no younger than 16 years old. No apartments/condos for this pup as she can be quite vocal with play and when left alone.
Stella LOVES to play with squeaky toys and will keep herself entertained for hours with them. However on walks Stella is quite nervous and unsure of new surroundings and would benefit from someone willing to help gain her confidence with this.
