Rainfall warning is in effect
Rain, heavy at times is expected.
Total rainfall: 25 to 40 mm.
Locations: Digby County and the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia from Yarmouth County to Guysborough County.
Time span: beginning towards noon Sunday in the western part of the province reaching Guysborough County by evening. Rain ending from west to east Sunday night.
Remarks: The rain will be accompanied by southeasterly winds gusting up to 80 km/h.
In addition, higher than normal water levels are possible near high tide Sunday evening from Yarmouth County to Halifax County.
