Residents invited to Glow in the Park
The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to attend Glow in the Park on Saturday, Oct. 5. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Sir Sandford Fleming Park (The Dingle, 260 Dingle Road).
Recreation is kicking off the fall season with this annual event. Highlights will include:
a 1.5km walk/run route
face painting zone
campfire zone
noodle zone
fairy land zone
hula hoop and hopscotch zone
strobe light zone
dance floor
Youth Worx canteen
The first 350 participants will receive free glow gear. There will be limited parking available, and a shuttle bus will be available to pick-up and drop-off event participants from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Frog Pond parking lot and École John W. MacLeod – Fleming Tower School.
