Police investigate robbery
Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax Saturday morning.
At approximately 4:40 a.m. police responded to a robbery that had occurred at the Needs Convenience Store at 33 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
The lone suspect entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded the clerk give him cigarettes. The suspect is described as a white man 40-45 years old, 5’8-5’10 and at the time he was wearing grey pants and a grey, white and black sweater and medical mask. The clerk was not injured. The suspect left the area in a vehicle and was last seen in the 200-300 block of Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
The Investigation is in the early stages, anyone with information about the incident or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
