Police Investigate Break & Enter and Arrest Suspect
At 2:47 a.m., on the 13th of October, Halifax Regional Police and a Police Service Dog responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress at the Canadian Tire gas station, 6551 Bayers Road, Halifax.
Upon arrival officers confirmed the door to the gas station was damaged and observed a male running from the business. Officers with a Police Service Dog apprehended suspect a short distance away. The suspect sustained minor injuries when bitten by the Police Service Dog.
A 20-year-old male from Halifax is held for court and is facing the following Criminal Code charges; Attempted Break & Enter, Resist Arrest, Assault Peace Officer and Breaching Conditions.

2:57 a.m. on the 13th of October, Halifax Regional Police responded to a Break & Enter at Dugger’s Mens Wear, 5409 Spring Garden Road Halifax. Multiple officers responded and discovered the doors were forced open.The suspect fled prior to police arrival and left with an unknown number of clothing items. No one was injured. Patrol officers searched the area, but have not located the suspect. There is no suspect description at this time.
