Halifax Transit is pleased to offer free fares for all riders after 6:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve (December 31) in support of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.). In lieu of fares, a donation to M.A.D.D. Halifax Regional Chapter would be appreciated. Donations to M.A.D.D. will be accepted at Halifax Ferry terminal from 6:00 p.m. until end of service.

If you are concerned that you have activated a fare option on HFXGO during the free fares period, please call 311 for assistance.
