Halifax Transit schedule and route changes – Monday, Nov. 18

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Halifax Transit service changes will take effect starting Monday, Nov. 18:

  • Route 1 Spring Garden  Route will now service Gottingen Street in both directions. The schedule will be updated to reflect the new routing and to improve on-time performance.
  • Route 10 A/B/C Dalhousie: This branched route will replace the existing Route 10, and will provide service between:
    • 10A Dalhousie – Bridge Terminal
    • 10B Dalhousie – Micmac Terminal
    • 10C Dalhousie – Westphal

Service will be removed from a section of South Street, from Beaufort Avenue and from a section of Inglis Street.

  • New Express Route 192: This new route will provide weekday service during peak travel periods between neighbourhoods near Larry Uteck Boulevard east of Highway 102 and downtown Halifax.

These changes are related to the Moving Forward Together Plan (MFTP), Halifax Transit’s long-term plan to better align the transit network with the needs of residents now and into the future. Visit our website for up-to-date changes to routes and schedules, including maps.
